Here you'll find information on the Unlikely Heroes Decks which were the 2022 Patreons deck from CHSD Playing Cards.
The Theme
The theme of the deck is based around unlikely superheroes, or, superheroes who have pretty silly superpowers that wouldn't be very useful in a real world situation that required real super powers.
The ideas for the superheroes which are depicted through the court cards of the deck were all suggested by Patreons and designed by myself.
The superheroes range from a character who can draw colour from paintings to a chap who turns into water when it rains. As well as a nuclear baby who becomes radioactive when upset.

Tuck Box Production: Hand Pressed & Constructed With A Platen Press
Notes: As the decks are hand pressed by myself, there are minor artefacts in the printing on the tuckboxes which are hardly noticeable, but they do exist. This is something that should be expected from hand pressed artwork versus machine pressed printing with a Heidelberg printer, due to consistency of pressure and several other factors.
Limited Edition Deck
A limited edition of this deck was made for Patreons only which was limited to 30 copies. The cards inside are the same as the standard deck, but the tuck is varied in it's design and the deck is signed and numbered.
